ROCHESTER Mich. — In a recent press release, Oakland’s radio station WXOU announced a recent research initiative to discover music that is considered “good”. After lots of complaints pertaining to the station’s music taste, the station has decided to go into a new direction.
WXOU’s General Manager shared that the station is very excited to share their new style. “For years we have called ourselves ‘the soundtrack of Oakland University,'” she said. “So we think it’s time to cater to other college students.”
Many students have shared their opinions on the matter. Grace Lewandowski, a biology student, stated, “It doesn’t really matter to me. I’ve never listened to their radio station.” Andre Brosseau, an accounting student, agreed saying, “How does it take six years to find good music? It should take, like, a day max.”
